Starting from the desire of a scientist seeking a cure for Alzheimer’s disease resulting in catastrophe that threatens human.

Will Rodman (James Franco) is a scientist who tries to find a cure for a disease that can not be cured. Before certainly safe for humans, this drug should be tested on monkeys first. One of the monkeys used for this test that will become a leader of a revolution that threatens human.

When given a drug research result, an ape named Caesar suddenly mutate quickly. Will then remove Caesar from the lab because did not want Caesar to be treated cruelly. Unfortunately, not long after the situation became more chaotic and the apes results of experiments began to show increase in intelligence with very fast. Did not take long time until the apes in power and humans is only a slave.
