Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is a loser. Although he was no longer a cocaine addict but its future could be spelled out not far from bleak. Fortunately, it’s all about to change. His meeting with an old friend to make his future changed.

The meeting was accidentally introduced Eddie Morra on MTD-48, a drug that reportedly can stimulate the brain so that we can utilize 100% of our brainpower. He could write a book in just one day. He could learn a foreign language in a very short time and no matter that he could not learn in quick time.

Eddie then use their skills to earn money by quickly. Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro) and then try to use the ability to Eddie for his personal benefit. Unfortunately it’s not the only problem Eddie. There is still a policeman and a group of criminals who were also eyeing Eddie for the same purpose.
