Neto Gouveia (Caio Junqueira) and André Matias (André Ramiro) are best friends since childhood who want to become a cop. For them the police is a great job because they can protect the public and combating crime. But they were disappointed after knowing that the police are not like they imagined.
After becoming a cop, Neto and André seen that many cop are involved crime and corruption. Disappointed with what happened, they finally join with BOPE (Special Police Operation Battalion) led by Capt. Roberto Nascimento (Wagner Moura).
Capt. Roberto seeing the potential of Neto and André and give them a task to ‘clean up’ area in Rio de Janeiro from drug dealers.
