Driver is a reliable driver. He often followed the race car. But his meeting with Irene make him stuck into a problem. Irene’s husband dealing with the mafia, so driver was also involved with the mafia business in order to save Irene.

Driver (Ryan Gosling) is an expert in driving. He often followed the wild race that made him often trapped in a world of crime. But his problems this time a little more complicated than usual.

Shannon (Bryan Cranston), who capitalize Driver to join the race borrowing money from a mafia. This is makes Driver have to deal with a mafia. At the same time, Driver met with Irene (Carey Mulligan) and her son, Benicio (Kaden Leos). Day after day traversed Driver with Irene and Benicio was very nice to him. But problems arise when Irene’s husband out of prison and involved with mafia business.

The Involvement of Irene’s husband in the affairs of the mafia makes the life of Irene and Benicio threatened in danger. Driver decided to help the problems faced by Irene’s husband to save Irene and Benicio.

Driver’s attempt to help Irene’s husband make him caught in a scenario that without he realized has taken advantage of him. Driver also have to think hard to get out of that scenario and to save Irene and Benicio.
