Gru (Steve Carell) is the biggest thief of all time. Nothing can match the record-Gru. Unfortunately, this record simply collapsed when a pyramid in Egypt, suddenly disappeared and no one knows who took it. Gru esteem in tatters. How could anyone who could steal the pyramid without anyone knowing. Even if you can, just Gru-your man.

Trying to restore a shattered self-esteem, even designing a Gru biggest theft in history of mankind. Gru would steal the moon. The problem, Gru still have to prepare everything. He must find a weapon that could shrink the month so it can be moved easily. When seeking a loan from a bank, Gru met Vector (Jason Segel) who turns out to be someone who just moved Gru as the greatest thief.

By all means Gru finally managed to get a weapon that is able to shrink this month. Damn, already a weapon in the hands of this Gru successfully stolen by Vector. Taking back this weapon from the Vector is not a simple problem and the only hope is to utilize the three orphans named Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Gaier Fund), and Agnes (Elsie Fisher) that was easily able to enter the hideout headquarters Vector.

Gru then adopted three children, and use them to enter a pie-shaped robots made by Doctor Nefario (Russell Brand) to the house Vector. Incidentally, Vector seem enamored with the third cake sold these orphans. Gru is now ready to steal the moon. But it seems the problem does not stop here because Gru who originally only wanted to take advantage of these three children orphaned in fact begin to feel the bond. Bond that never felt.

Making an animated film is not easy. Most successful animated film produced by Pixar, the other almost inaudible voice. Now, Universal Studios tried his luck in the world of animation with the release of this movie called DESPICABLE ME and this film turned out quite successful and it is quite possible there will be a sequel to this film.
