From the side of the story, BURLESQUE does not offer much. Nothing special about the plot, written by Steven Antin and Diablo Cody. The basic story is too thin can not be translated into a script that is quite convincing. Most of the characters in this film feels as two-dimensional character while the dialogue that they brought was also felt not natural.

Of the many shortcomings, it could be the most serious is Christina Aguilera’s acting was not giving satisfactory performance. Can be spelled, Christina even appear more attractive when she was singing or dancing, or at least she is not talking or having to show a certain emotion.

Fortunately, from the production side, BURLESQUE quite satisfactory. At least when Christina Aguilera in action on the stage, the setting looks well ordered. But remember Steven Antin is more often worked on music videos, it seems normal that in this section with almost no defects
